I wasn't sure if this was a gimmick at first or not, but I ordered anyway.
Sure enough, it actually WORKS!!
Could I make my own silencer for less money? Yeah, I probably could have. It's essentially a larger foam-lined tube with 8" flanges on either end. But since I had enough on my plate to begin with, this fit the bill perfectly.
It looks nice and keeps a "professional" look to my setup, which I probably couldn't have done if I made one myself, and it actually quiets the sound!!
