I bought this pan because it has fiberglass reinforcement on the back. All the others I looked at were filled with stryrofoam which isn't a very good backing for a showerpan. The pan arrived via LTL (truck)and was packaged in a box on a pallet. The thin film of plastic applied to the top to protect it during installation is easily removed by the slightest bump so we removed it and recovered it with a thicker plastic. As the other reviewer said it doesn't come with a drain but you can buy one at the store for $8 to suit your specific connection. The pan is easy to install and I do like the fiberglass reinforcement. My only complaint is that the sidewalls weren't completely square with the wall so I had to shim them. Definitely recommend this pan over those found at the big box stores.
