I have bought 3 of these Progressive Lighting products. I have found them be of high quality, were easy to install, give off a good amount of light, and look nice too. Our home has 7'-7&1/2' ceilings so we wanted light fixtures with a relatively short depth. The depth from the ceiling to bottom of the center of the light is only 4". We have one the 17" lights in a bedroom (11'x13') another of the 17" lights in a small home office and a third 11" fixture in an entry way and the amount of light is more than adequate for each room.
