I did a lot of research before purchasing this safe. For the price and class, this is a great buy. Solid construction and a thoughtful design. There were only two things I had to do on my own. First, since I was inserting it into the wall as far as it would go, and fastening it to studs... I had to drill my own holes in the side of the case. Easier said than done... the walls are tough steel. I also wanted a shelf inside, but I ended up making my own out of 3/8 inch corregated plastic. This safe is as good or better than most safes you will run into at quality hotels.
