A handy convenient sized level w/ many digital functions (rise and run, percent slope, laser dot, beeper, plus standard plumb and level vials). Been looking for a decent priced one like this for a while and this Empire model beat out the competition because of sale price and the extra function: the laser dot. I'm in the design business and use it mostly for field measuring: checking slopes of roofs, sidewalks, ramps etc. A very handy tool that saves time and ultimately money. I'd recommend it to any professional (design or building) or the home owner.
