This sink is very elegant, but if you are installing this into an existing bathroom, there are a couple of things that become an annoyance and one that's a frustrating problem. The wall hung top portion is fairly easy to install IF you have wood blocking behind your plaster or drywall to hang it safely from. Otherwise, the bolts included with the sink can't be used.
Installation of the semi-pedestal base is a nightmare. the intent is for your water shutoff valves and drain trap to be concealed behind this shroud. The width of this base is so narrow that unless you have new construction or can open the wall to put new shutoff valves spaced 3" apart, it becomes a major problem. Once that issue is dealt with, installing the semi-pedestal is a pretty complicated process. Access to install your water lines from your faucet to your shutoff valves takes tiny hands and allot of patience. If you ever have to replace the faucet or service the valves, the entire frustrating process has to be done again.
