I loved the design of this lamp, and I also purchased a similar "twigs" styled light by the same company for my dining room. Overall, this light seems more flimsy. I had to buy a special pipe nipple from the hardware store to get it to fit in my 1941 home. The welds on the stem are pretty far from straight, but you can sorta make up for that by swiveling the bowl before tightening everything down. Let's just say that everything is pretty "wonky" in the way we've come to expect from thirty-five cents worth of Chinese labor. Also, the bowl has a VERY pronounced "gasoline rainbow" sheen to the inner surface that's not visible in the pictures. I don't like it, and don't know how to strip it, if that's even possible. I was expecting warm yellowy tones, without the pinks and purples. Anyway, just thought I should mention that since those colors aren't apparent in the photo.
Other than what I mentioned above, it does look like the picture and it looks well enough in my room that I'll probably keep it, but not so sharp that I'd buy it again.
