First off .You need a common wire if not you will have to hook up other ways like Venstar Add-A-Wire 5 Wire to 4 Wire Adapter. The nice feature is that you can control the thermostat from any smartphone, just about any ware.. You can be so lazy.. Thermostat on the wall., and your in bed use the phone thats next to you now you dont need to get up. You dont need a nest.(can the other thermostats show photos), i looked at lots of thermostats and researched over 20 of them, to see what the best was. I got this and I am very happy with it.

I found this 11.5 inch light fixture & it matches the 3 smaller ones I have over my kitchen island. I was so pleased to find the larger size to match. I had a recessed can light over my kitchen sink & replaced it with this. I also had to get the recessed can adapter to convert the can fixture to adapt to the pendant light. Big difference- it brings the light source down closer to the sink & creates a better lit area. The weight is heavy... not plastic, but glass. A quality piece that matches my cottage style kitchen with green walls and ivory cabinetry and black drawer pulls.
Highly recommend this brand and the light fixture.

Lumatek LK6240 240V HPS-MH Dial A Watt Dimmable, 600W-400W-300W, 1 Lamp Review

This is awesome! Absolutely dead quiet - no fan. Very little heat output. Best thing? It's dimmable. On occasion I turn my 600 watt bulb down to 400 watts to save a little electricity when there is supplemental lighting in the room. Can't do that with my other digital ballast! Not sure about super lumens setting. Tried it momentarily and it does boost the lumens a little, but didn't want to risk shortening the lifespan of my bulb. Quality made by a reputable company at a great price. Can't go wrong with this one.

JOHNSON AccuLine Pro 40-6680 Self-Leveling, Five-Beam Laser Pointer Review

EDIT: I have changed my mind about this device since I originally wrote the review in Aug 08. I can't edit the number of stars, but I'd give it three stars knowing what I know now.

Since my initial review I have discovered that the device I actually purchased (not the one I tried out in the store) is not accurate. I discovered it when some of my cabinet work didn't quite line up. I then put a bubble level on some things, and after some cross checking and further testing, realized that the laser-plumb was out by a whole 1/8" in only 8 feet. This means that when I set up one end of a wall, it was 1/8" off; but then 3 feet away, because I didn't realize there was a problem, I had the laser turned 180 degrees from original, and ended up making this end 1/8" off THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION, for a total swing of 1/4" (on a 3 ft long wall -- YIKES). Totally unacceptable. I was able to fix the wall (my mistake: I should have checked the calibration before using the laser), but I can't fix the laser.

I contacted Johnson, and here is what they said:
"Since the unit is out of calibration I would have to refer you to your nearest service center. Unfortunately, calibration is not covered under warranty."

It appears the advertised 1/4" in 100 ft is just so much baloney. I'd calibrate it myself if it were possible, but apparently not. From the manual:
"Required repair/calibration must be done by an authorized AccuLine
Pro(tm) service center". I haven't found out how much this is going to cost, but I can't imagine it'll be cheap! Plus, customer service told me: "When we inspect each unit, our tolerance is the advertised spec of 1/8" at 50 feet. We cannot control anything in shipping that may have jarred the unit out of calibration" So basically, if it's out of cal when you buy it, TOUGH! But also, it may need calibration often since it was in cal when they tested it, but out when I bought it.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
First, I've only used this on one job, so I may change my opinion after I've used it more, but here's what I think so far.

$180 seems like a lot for this thing; especially when there are other lasers out there for a lot less. However, the price is not at all out-of-line when compared to other *similar* products; in fact, it is the least expensive of the similar products I found.

The product feels very solid (despite *looking* like a toy). All 5 laser beams have a single origin (a very nice feature compared to some others that do not). It has a full 360 degree rotating base that allows you to twist the laser (and trace out a horizontal line if desired) without having to move the base. I used these two features to confirm it's accuracy in the store (Lowes) before I bought it.

The pendulum settles within about 3 seconds, and as near as I could tell, always back to exactly the same spot. The laser dot on the one in the store was a little fuzzy, but not bad. The one I actually purchased was perfect. I wonder if the one in the store had something on the cover from handling. The dot on mine is actually so bright that I had a hard time marking in the middle of it; kind of blinding when it reflects off a light-colored surface, and I was staring at the dot trying to get the ink-pen right in the middle of the dot.

The mount has some very strong magnets in it, both bottom, and back; for mounting to metal studs, etc. It also has strap slots for mounting (with the enclosed strap) to non-magnetic objects. It will also mount to a 5/8 inch tripod. The well-designed mount allows you to "rotate" the laser unit to various positions (with respect to the mount) and has detents in it at 90 degree increments. Hard to explain in words, but a very nice feature: allows you to position the laser out over an edge.

Nice, sturdy carrying case with lots of padding inside.

The rotating on/off switch "locks" the pendulum, I assume in a "safe" position for moving. I did this most anytime I moved it. Otherwise, the alarm would sound indicating it couldn't true itself.

The designers obviously put some thought into this laser. The more I use it, the more impressed I am with it.

I just love this light fixture! It's gorgeous! I recently re-painted my condo with shades of blue and soft purple. I decided to change the old light fixtures which were a dark green glass with black. I bought the Johana for my hallway lights. I started with one and now one 3. Pictures don't do this light justice. The mosaic is a beautiful silver and gold with turquoise, purple, blue green. When you actually have the light on the gold/silver look more gold. What a beautiful light and the color scheme would work with most decors. My only criticism is that it is not available in other sizes. I would have liked to use this pattern throughout my house but unfortunately, the smaller size was more suitable for hallways and alcoves.
