All in all, it's not a bad piece. They did cheap out with some plastic retaining nuts to hold the unit to the tub side, but you can purchase metal ones at a plumbing supply shop. If like me, you are replacing an original claw foot tub faucet, just reuse the old ones that you already have.

Works smoothly and we are quite happy with it's function.
